Cripto Country - The Metaverse From Latin America

Digital cities have become a new investment modality.

What is CriptoCountry?

The first 3D real estate game created in Latin America and that is shaping up to become one of the next unicorns.

The crypto world is growing and showing, every day, new ways to innovate and attract new followers. Investments in this universe continue but, this time, in a different way.

CriptoCountry – The Metaverse from Latin America

Digital cities are opening as a new way to invest. In this environment is born, in Latin America, CriptoCountry, the first project of this type developed in the Latin American market, which has already accumulated more than US$ 3 million in investments, and offers potential owners land from US$ 10 (please be aware that prices have already gone up at the time of writing, lands are now around $135 for the cheapest one).

Diversifying savings is one of the premises in Latin America, and the possibility of converting local currencies into hard currencies has encouraged small savers to look for alternatives. Thus, the option of investing in cryptocurrencies has recently reached a relevance that not only summons those who are specialists in the matter, but also amateurs who seek to dominate the market and own their money in a way that was not possible before.

Nowadays, the new “digital traders” experience a unique kind of adrenaline, when monitoring how much their investment have grown and are permanently looking for new opportunities. CriptoCountry arose from that need, for a market that until now had not ventured into the development of digital cities: Latin America.

“The idea was born from the real real estate world: in the region in general you have to make a large investment to be able to have a return on investment in the future in terms of rentals,” says Giovanni Caroglio, the driving force behind the project. ”The fact of renting also entails certain added risks, so, it doesn’t make sense to invest so much to earn so little month by month, for this very reason we created a solution, within the framework of a 3D real estate game”.

This is how it is developed

In this project, carried out under Blockchain technology, it operates with the use of NFTs, i.e., non-fungible, unique and unrepeatable digital tokens. To become a “Cryptonian”, investors have to buy their land or lots, which have a determined pre-sale price until February 2022. There, they will be able to access the continent that belongs to the metaverse of the Thron world, a universe that hosts a 3D game mode, in which players and investors will interact.

CryptoCountry is based on an environment of 30 cities, each of them with different capitalization characteristics. Land values range from US$ 10 Bitcoin City, Ethereum City US$ 25, Torren City US$ 50, Tron City at US$ 100, and Trezzor City, the most expensive city, US$ 150.

Investors will be part of the Cryptonian community, and will have access to the purchase of NFT packages with furniture, trees, fantastic animals and many more elements, to put inside the property and set the house. The goal is for each property to increase its value and position in the platform’s marketplace, so that it can then be traded and marketed with other users.

You Can Invest, Play or Both!

For those who have their savings capital, they can invest it and for those who are in the gamer world, they can play. “It is a digital game where there are two parties, the investor, who buys his land, and the gamer who interacts and makes the value of that property grow. It’s always going to depend on two parties for the business. This is a novelty, since there are investors who do not want to play, and there are players who do not need to invest, but play by mining NFT, obtaining every month a profit that can go from US$ 200 to US$ 3,000 or US$ 5,000, everything obviously depends on their capabilities”, explains Caroglio.

The game is based on Epic Games technology, and was created with real engine, where hyperrealism is the star in terms of 3D. In December 2020, the corresponding NFTs will be delivered to those who have purchased their lots and the terrain map will be available. Starting in the first quarter of 2021, the NFTs marketplace will be launched, together with the 3D game, which in a first stage will have a desktop version and then a mobile version by mid-year.

“Investors do not have to have knowledge in finance, for that they are advised throughout the purchase process. Every month they will be able to generate a capital return in the future: today they invest between ten and twenty-five dollars, depending on the city in which they buy their property and they will be able to earn more than 2000, 3000 or 5000% in dollars; they would not be able to earn that with any property in the real world”, adds the entrepreneur.

The company behind the initiative is We are Capital, a fintech from Mendoza with global projection, which seeks to reach US$ 15 billion in the next 5 years. “Reaching that goal would position us as one of the companies with the largest capital in Latin America,” says Caroglio, also CEO of the firm.

The focus is to democratize investments in the LATAM territory and change the idea of short term for one of long term investments: “With CryptoCountry we want to give the opportunity to anyone in the region, and in the future anywhere in the world, to make an investment, and thus be able to obtain an economic benefit in the coming months and/or years. Whoever ventures into the Crypto world does not invest in the real world, he invests in a digital world, in this sense, you can earn much more by leaving the traditional economic system and breaking the scheme, in order to have a better quality of life”, concludes the executive.
